A Warsaw man was arrested Sunday morning and charged with sniffing glue.

Michael Wayne Hirshey, 26, of 223 W. Jefferson St., was arrested at 2 a.m. Sunday. He is being held in Kosciusko County Jail on $175 bond.

Multi-Township EMS received a call from the Victory Hotel, Warsaw, saying a woman was unable to move and needed help. When paramedics arrived, they found the hotel filled with the smell of glue.

Hirshey allegedly told police he was not only sniffing the glue but also drinking it. He reportedly gave police four nearly-empty tubes of model glue.

His wife Jackie told police when she awoke, she was unable to move and her hands were purple. Paramedics reported her condition was due to the excessive glue fumes.

Hirshey reportedly told police he sniffed the glue because it made him feel good.
