A man died from unknown injuries in Warsaw Monday night, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
At 7:42 p.m., KCSD deputies found an injured male near the roadway of CR 300N.
The man was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital, where he died, the release states.
Law enforcement officials have not released the cause of his death or the nature of his injuries.
According to 911 dispatch logs, a resident called in and reported a stabbing around 7:40 p.m. The logs show a death investigation being called in at 9:13 p.m.
The name of the man has not been released, pending positive identification and notification of the family.
CR 300N was closed today between Tippe Downs Drive and Madison Elementary School. Access to Madison was from CR 150W.
Warsaw Police Department, Winona Lake Police Department, Leesburg Fire Department, Winona Lake Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office assisted at the scene.
