NORTH WEBSTER - North Webster man allegedly attempting to flee police was arrested Wednesday night and held on $7,000 bond.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Trinton Jarrod Tuttle, 24, of 9018 E. Backwater Road, North Webster, was traveling at a high rate of speed on Ind. 13 near the flowing well outside of North Webster.
At that point, KCSD deputy Shane Bucher clocked Tuttle speeding and attempted to pull him over. Tuttle allegedly failed to pull over and turned onto EMS B20 Lane, crashed his vehicle, then fled on foot.
Officers went to Tuttle's home and talked to his fiance, at which point Tuttle called and said he was turning himself in.
Tuttle was booked into Kosciusko County Jail at 11:51 p.m. Wednesday for resisting/fleeing law enforcement, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and burglary.
The burglary charge was from a warrant for Tuttle's arrest. Allegedly, that's the reason why Tuttle said he fled when Bucher attempted to pull him over.
