Man Faces Arson Charge

One day after a motorcycle was set on fire outside a Warsaw residence, a man was arrested and charged with arson.

Robert Dewayne Slone, 21, of 1316 Copeland St., Warsaw, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 1 p.m. Thursday. He is being held on $10,000 bond for the Class B felony.

Slone is accused of throwing a bottle containing a flammable liquid at the motorcycle parked next to the Jack Ford residence on East Winona Avenue in Warsaw.

Fire officials have not yet determine what type of liquid was in the bottle.

The fire also caused damage to the house owned by Larry Engle. Total damage is estimated at $10,000.

The incident was investigated by Warsaw police and fire departments.
