Man Arrested On Drug, Violence ChargesNORTH MANCHESTER – A North Manchester man pleaded not guilty Thursday after being arrested Monday on drug, domestic violence and other charges.
Benjamin D. Sheppard, 41, North Manchester, was booked into the Wabash County Jail on several felony charges, including strangulation, possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a syringe.
He also faces misdemeanor charges for domestic violence, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
According to North Manchester Police Department, officers investigated a domestic violence call at 1:13 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of Damron Drive. Sheppard was arrested at the scene.
On Thursday, he appeared for an initial hearing in Wabash County Circuit Court and entered a plea of not guilty to all charges filed against him
