NAPPANEE – Malinda Mae Miller, age 90, of Leesburg, died at 8:15 a.m., Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, where she resided for four years.

She was born April 25, 1929, in Wilmot, Ohio, to Levi J. and Elizabeth Hershberger Kuhns. She was a lifetime area resident. On Nov. 3, 1955, she married Roman E. Miller in Nappanee. He preceded her in death February 23, 2003.   

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her children, Paul Ray (Katharine) Miller of Nappanee, Elizabeth Ann (Ervin) Lehman of Leesburg, Mary Etta (Robert) Hochstetler of Milford, Daniel Lee (Mary Ann) Miller of Etna Green, Vera Mae Mille of Warsaw, Steven Allen (Fanny) Miller of Etna Green; daughter-in-law, Wilma Miller of Colon, Mich.; 48 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; brothers, Eli Kuhns of Etna Green, Alvin Kuhns of Shipshewana, Freeman Kuhns of Milford; sisters, Edna Miller of Nappanee, Amanda Chupp of Nappanee; sisters-in-law, Clara Kuhns of Portage, Wis.,  Barbara Yoder of Nappanee; and brother-in-law, Marvin E. Miller of Milford.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Wayne Dean Miller; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild;  brothers, Roman Kuhns, Melvin Kuhns; two infant brothers; sister, Emma Miller; sisters-in-law, Martha Kuhns, Amanda Kuhns; and brothers-in-law, Edward Miller, Howard Miller and LaMar Chupp.

Visitation is after 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 and all day Wednesday, May 22, at the Olen J. Miller residence, 8283 N.  600W, Etna Green. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 23, also at Miller’s.

The Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Graber Cemetery.
