Malcom Hughes, 82, Warsaw, formerly of Winona Lake, passed away at 9 a.m. March 21, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
He was born March 1, 1934, in Blue River, Ky., to Jim Henry and Ida Marsillett Hughes. On July 1, 1961, in Clintwood, Va., he was united in marriage to Anna Marie DeRossette, who preceded him in death.
He was a tool and die maker at Da-Lite Screen Company Inc., retiring after 39 years.
Surviving are his daughter, Mary (and spouse Brian) Sager, Winona Lake; four grandchildren: Hugh Freeman, Warsaw; Hunter Freeman and Jason Sager, both of Winona Lake; and Kaitlin Sager, Wabash. He also was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. Glen Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
