The Magical Meadows, a therapeutic horseback riding center for adults and children with special needs, was the beneficiary of a recent Facebook promotion that the Rice family, Winona Lake, participated in with Shindigz, a division of Stumps Party Store, South Whitley. The promotion, Party FUNd, allows for ideas to benefit a cause to be shared on Facebook, which are chosen by Shindigz after two weeks of voting. The Rice family gave the idea of providing The Magical Meadows with a gift certificate to Stumps Party Store for an end-of-year awards program to riders and volunteers. For more information, visit the website at www.themagicalmeadows.org, on Facebook or by calling 574-265-3085. Pictured with the gift certificate (L to R) are: Tammy Stackhouse, Meadows executive director; Danny Rice; Sydney Sasaraba, Meadows volunteer; Christina Rice with Meadows mascot Sir Lancelot; Lizzie Rice; and Chris Snyder, Meadows volunteer.
