Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
The Magical Meadows will host its inaugural “Pistons & Ponies Cruise-In” on Saturday, inviting the community to enjoy an evening of horsepower of all kinds.
The event will take place on the organization’s 41-acre therapeutic riding facility and is free and open to the public, according to a news release from The Magical Meadows.
The Cruise-In welcomes all cars, trucks and motorcycles, with roll-in beginning at 3:30 p.m. The event officially runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of vehicles, meet the horses of The Magical Meadows and enjoy family-friendly activities across the property.
Food will be available from Owens Fresh Meat Market, and Maggie’s Coffee & Treats will be on site serving smoothies.
While admission is free, donations and proceeds from the event will directly support Warriors Mount Up — The Magical Meadows’ therapeutic riding program designed specifically for veterans and first responders. This program provides healing, connection and peace through equine-assisted activities.
This event comes as the nonprofit continues to see significant growth and expansion. It is currently engaged in a $2 million capital campaign to build two new indoor riding arenas – one of which will be dedicated to veterans and first-responders.
“We are in awe of the way that God continues work to provide opportunities for the people we serve here,” said Michael Kuhn, Magical Meadows executive director. “This event is yet another opportunity for the general public to see where the ‘magic’ happens. We can’t wait to see the community come out and spend some time taking in the beauty of God’s creation while also checking out some pretty awesome man-made machines.”
The Magical Meadows is at 3386 E. CR 525N on the northeast side of Warsaw.
Registration is not required, but participants can RSVP by responding to the event on the organization’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/share/16mRMNv2ML/
