Mae Louise Ellis, 87, of Okeechobee, Fla., died at 12:43 p.m. April 30, 2010, in her residence.
She was born March 8, 1923, in Kosciusko County, to Glen and Agnes Dubbs Davisson. On Dec. 4, 1943, in Kosciusko County, she married Robert E. Ellis, who preceded her in death.
Formerly of Warsaw, she was a homemaker; a member of Cook's Chapel Church, Warsaw; and the former Indiana State Junior Amateur Golf Champion.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia (and spouse Barry) Niemann, Celebration, Fla.; two sons, Steve (and spouse Mally) Ellis, Warsaw, and Dave (and spouse Glenetta) Ellis, Okeechobee; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Don Davisson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Hank Lowman officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
