Madison Visits History

Posted

Indiana history came to life for Madison Elementary School's fourth-graders as they traveled to Conner Prairie in Fishers. Conner Prairie is an interactive historic park which allows its visitors to travel back in time. Each year the fourth-grade students at Madison look forward to this trip. It is a day jam-packed with activities that foster a deeper understanding of Indiana life way back in the 1800s. Conner Prairie has five main historic areas for guests to visit. They are the Lenape Camp, Conner Homestead, 1836 Prairietown, 1859 Balloon Voyage and 1886 Liberty Corner. With so much to do and see, many of the students want to go back again.
