Since Madison Elementary School met its goal Thursday of raising $450 for the Limitless Park, Winona Lake Park Board President Shelby Beam (C) dressed up as Pinkalicious Friday when she substitute taught at the Warsaw school. ‘They did amazing,’ Beam said of the school’s efforts. Madison Student Council Advisor Tami Miller said there were quite a few people who attended Thursday’s kickball game. An anonymous donor will match the donation, making the total $900 raised for the park. The school raised the money through a kickball game between staff members and the Limitless Park Committee. While Madison had more people on its team, the committee earned more points to win the game. ‘The ultimate winners were the kids,’ said Miller. ‘It was a lot of fun,’ Beam said. Pinkalicious is a book character who dresses in pink from head to toe and carries a wand around with her. Pictured with Beam are the Madison Student Council and Miller (back row, far right).
