Thanks to the Dekko Foundation and Warsaw Community Schools, students have been able to spend some time with area artists learning more about their trade. Fifth-grade students at Madison Elementary School recently enjoyed having the opportunity to make clay people under the guidance of Luke Wright. The clay people created by the Madison fifth-graders will be on display and available for purchase at the Village Barber, located in the Village at Winona, May 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. Other Warsaw schools also will have items for sale. All of the proceeds from this sale will go toward the building and repairing of drinking wells in Africa. For more information, contact Wright at MudLove in Winona Lake.
