Thanks to Kosciusko County REMC, fourth-grade students from Madison Elementary School learned about electricity and the importance of being safe while using electrical items. A.C.Sparks, also known as Jerry Palma, taught the children about circuits, appliance do's and don'ts, and what employees of electric companies do to keep themselves safe while working. All of Palma's information presented in the program was very valuable to everyone in attendance. This type of program could save a life by teaching children to make wise and safe choices in regards to electricity, something we all use daily. Pictured are Palma and some Madison fourth-grade students.
