Madison Elementary School Progressing

Posted

With the carpenters union strike over about 1-1/2 weeks ago, the work on the new Madison Elementary School is progressing. The strike had put all four of the Warsaw School Corp. building projects behind, but Madison sustained the biggest setbacks. According to Warsaw School Board Vice President Dan Robinson, however, workers are back on site and they are working. The school corporation representative on the project sites, Robinson said, reported to Robinson late last week that the work crews feel they are making progress on catching up on the project. Workers feel they gained back a week on the school, and in two to three weeks may be back on schedule. Robinson said some time this week, more manpower may be added to the project to move it along. The other WCS projects include a new Leesburg Elementary and renovations and additions to Claypool and Jefferson elementary schools.
