Four chess teams from Madison Elementary School participated in the Goshen Team Tourney in February.
In the sixth-grade and under division (grades four, five and six), the Madison A team and B team finished first and second respectively; sweeping the trophies.
In the third-grade and under division (grades first, second and third), the Madison A team finished in second place. They were out-performed by the Madison B team who had a perfect score for the day.
Of the 16 kids from Madison who participated, eight had perfect scores of 5-0. Four went 4-1.

Madison A - Benjamin Bolduc*, Chase Byron*, Nathaniel Pollnow, Abby Rucoi.
Madison B - Sebastian Medina*, Izzy Chang*, Andreana Heiman* and Eli Holder*.
Sixth and under:
Madison A - Corbin Sloan*, Samuel Bolduc, Gage Cutler, Noah Pollnow*.
Madison B - Leo Medina, Trent Shepherd, Esteban Paredes, Juan Bernal.
