Madison Elementary School students took time Nov. 16 to celebrate the scores they earned to propel Madison to an ‘A’ school. The day began with all students and staff receiving a ‘Madison Cardinals … simply A-mazing’ t-shirt. Blosser’s Studio came out to take an entire school picture on the back of a Warsaw Fire Department fire truck. The t-shirts were funded, in part, by Medtronic, Madison’s Partner in Education. Later in the afternoon, there was a pep rally for the students. The pep rally included Edgewood and Madison cheerleaders, an appearance by ‘A-guy’ (Mr. Lancaster), Mike Hemmelgarn (comedy juggler and ventriloquist) and popcorn (popped by Madison PTO and served by Madison Student Council). The day was a chance to honor and thank all of the Madison students, who worked hard last year to earn the scores and remind students of what they are capable of accomplishing again.
