The following announcement was submitted as the lyrics to a song, sung to the tune of "She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain". Lyrics written by Madison's own Jeannie Rhodes."Come and join us here at Madison in May
"May 15th will be a very special day
"All the years we spent together
"Sunny days and stormy weather
"Formed the friendships we remember to this day.
"Sledding down the hill at Madison was great
"As we flew above the bumps with our classmates
"Some were bruised and slightly battered
"And their snow pants were quite tattered
"But their teachers didn't mind if they were late.
"Cardinal teams set records almost every year
"For our students knew they had to persevere
"They were highly motivated
"And they quickly demonstrated
"That the Cardinals were the best both far and near.
