NORTH MANCHESTER – Madelyn R. Greene, 87, of Roann, died at 10:30 a.m. August 2, 2013, in her residence. She was born March 8, 1926, in South Whitley, to George Knoop and Ruth Goff. On Aug. 3, 1946, she married Norman L. Greene, who died Nov. 11, 2010. She was a homemaker and attended South Whitley High School. She was employed at Heckman Bindery, North Manchester, for 15 years and retired from Indiana Lawrence Bank, North Manchester, in 1988 after 10 years. Surviving are a son, Mikel (and spouse Patty) Greene, Barbee Lake, Pierceton; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two sisters. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley St., North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
