High unemployment, bankruptcy, home foreclosures, stock market losses, low-tax revenue, higher tax rates, government bailouts, etc.
The answer is not new laws and regulations, higher tariffs, government planning and provisions.
We, the consumer, are the answer.
If, for one week, we walk through the retailers and buy only "Made in the USA" - electronics, household goods, shoes, clothing, recreational equipment, bicycles, motorcycles, cars, etc., food may be about all you buy.
The retailers will provide "Made in the USA" because they cannot survive without sales.
It will take some time to reverse decades of outsourcing because we, the consumer, are "penny wise and pound foolish."
We, the consumer, are the "answer" and have the "Power of the Purse."
