A former Warsaw resident has verbally committed to play volleyball at the University of Notre Dame. Maddie Plumlee, who grew up in Warsaw and attended Jefferson Elementary and Lakeview Middle School, chose the Fighting Irish over schools such as Duke, North Carolina, Purdue and Virginia. Plumlee is currently a junior at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh, N.C. Plumlee is the daughter of Perky and Leslie Plumlee, Warsaw.
