A local chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is in its early organizational stages.
MADD, which was founded in 1980, is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with more than three million members nationwide.
MADD offers individual and family support and every chapter has trained victim advocates.
There will be four local meetings for chapter set-up and member sign-up.
Pierceton will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Blue Lion Coffee House.
Winona Lake will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 3 in the Winona Lake community building.
Warsaw's meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Justice Building.
Claypool will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 7 in the Lion's Club Building.
Membership rates are $10 for senior citizens and students, $20 for individuals, $40 for family membership and $150 for a company membership.
Victims and families of victims are not required to pay membership dues.
