CHURUBUSCO – Mabel Fisher, 89, of Etna Green, and formerly of Churubusco, died at 1:40 a.m. March 7, 2012, in her residence. She was in failing health for the past several months.
She was born Jan. 3, 1923, in Chicago, to John and Rose Herman Fisher.
A resident of Churubusco for nine years, she lived in Etna Green since 1994. She formerly worked at Passages Inc., Columbia City, and while living in Churubusco attended Churubusco Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving is a sister, Catherine Fisher, Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco, with the Rev. Paul D. White officiating. Burial will be in South Park Cemetery Annex, Columbia City.
