M. Lynn Coble Demacopoulos

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – M. Lynn Coble Demacopoulos, 68, of Knoxville, Tenn., died May 17, 2013, in her residence, after a five-year battle with lymphoma.
She was born Feb. 21, 1945, in Fort Wayne, to Marvin M. and Anna R. Coble. On Sept. 3, 1965, she married Terry E. Demacopoulos, who survives.
She graduated from Pierceton High School in 1963 and Michael Reese School of Nursing, Chicago, in 1966. She received a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee. For many years she was a supervisor in the neonatal critical care unit at the University of Tennessee Hospital.
Surviving are a son, Dr. George (and spouse Kathy) Demacopoulos, Commack, N.Y.; two daughters, Eleni (and spouse Dr. Caughman) Taylor, Columbia, S.C., and Anna Maria (and spouse Jeff) Horner, Nashville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and a sister, Beth (and spouse Linden) Boggs, Pierceton.
Services were Monday at Saint George Creek Orthodox Church, Knoxville. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville, Tenn.
