SYRACUSE — M. Lynn Atwood, 70, Syracuse, passed away at 2:44 a.m. Feb. 13, 2017, at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
She was born Sept. 4, 1946, in Indianapolis, to Richard K. and Beverly Morse Weisenfluh.
She graduated in 1965 from Arlington High School, Indianapolis, and was married in Indianapolis to H. James “Jim” Atwood, who preceded her on June 4, 2014.
She formerly lived in Indianapolis, North Webster and Fort Wayne before moving to Syracuse. She was formerly employed with Wawasee Community School Corp. as a paraprofessional at Syracuse Elementary and formerly co-owned and operated Signs Now in Fort Wayne.
She was a member of the Church of God, North Webster, as well as the boat-in worship on Lake Wawasee in the summer. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafts, working in the yard, and spending time at the lake with family, friends and neighbors.
She is survived by a daughter, Jill (spouse Matt) Stahl, Fishers; four sons: Jeff (spouse Melissa) Atwood, Leesburg; Brent (spouse Tricia) Atwood and Darin (spouse Michelle) Atwood, both of Fishers; and Joshua (spouse Ashley) Atwood, Carmel; a stepdaughter, Lisa (spouse David) Georges, Hollywood, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and two brothers, John Weisenfluh, Huntington Beach, Calif., and Kurt (spouse Krista) Weisenfluh, Schererville.
She was preceded by her parents; husband; and a brother, Richard M. “Chip” Weisenfluh.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
A celebration of life gathering will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Atwood home, 712 E. Medusa St., Syracuse, with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating a brief service at 2 p.m.  
Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
