Lyndsay Allison Poe Sanchez, 20, of 303 N. Columbia St., Warsaw, went to be with her dad Sept. 29, 2011, in Warsaw.
She was born Oct. 13, 1990, in Warsaw, to Bonnie Lyons, who survives, and Mark Allen Poe, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 24, 2009, she married Antonio “Tony” Sanchez, who survives.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she was a 2009 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. She was selected by the Indiana Ambassadors of Music to travel to seven countries in 2008. She was a lifelong trumpet player, and in her senior year of high school she was a drum major. She was a photographer, and in 2011 she began her own photography business. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved helping people and making people laugh.
Also surviving are her mother, Bonnie (and spouse Shawn) Misener, Warsaw; two sisters, Sierra (and spouse Joshua) Lantz and Shelby Poe, all of Warsaw; grandparents, Ben (and spouse Karla) Shafer, Mancelona, Mich., and Delmar (and spouse Dorothy) Poe, Claypool; three great-grandparents: Frank Lyons, Plymouth; Helen Shafer, Warsaw; and Inez Barrett, Winona Lake; two aunts, Wonnie Shafer and Stefanie Shafer, both of Warsaw; two uncles, Greg (and spouse Crystal) Shafer, Sidney, and Matthew (and spouse Nancy) Poe, Claypool; and many nieces, nephews and eight cousins. She also was preceded in death by her grandmother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Bishop Erik Davies officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
