Richard and Betty Lynch, Claypool, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday. Richard and the former Betty Clark were married Nov. 8, 1964, at Center United Brethren Church, Silver Lake, by the Rev. Kenneth Kraft. Richard is retired from NIPSCO and Betty is retired from the post office. They are the parents of Steve (and spouse Amy) Lynch, Brownsburg, and Janet (and spouse Gail) Rippe, McCook, Neb. They have four grandchildren: Allison, Abigail, Nathan and JD. The couple will be celebrating with family.
