Lydia A. Wilson, 86, of Claypool, died at 3:58 p.m. June 18, 2012, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio.
She was born Sept. 25, 1925, in Wabash County, to Elbert F. and Laura Blocher Lewis. On Oct. 22, 1945, she married Laurie L. Wilson, who died Feb. 8, 1983.
She worked at Heckman Bindery, North Manchester, from 1960-70. She graduated from Silver Lake High School in 1944. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Warsaw.
Surviving are a son, Laurie Gene (and spouse Diana) Wilson, Bowling Green, Ohio; two daughters, Barbara (and spouse Glenn) Bellamy, Warsaw, and Juanita Stellar, Roann; three brothers: Harold (and spouse Aribelle) Lewis, Auburndale, Fla.; Ira (and spouse Nancy) Lewis, Claypool; and Bud (and spouse Ethel) Lewis, North Manchester; five sisters: Esther (and spouse Harold) Wrightsman, Silver Lake; Pat (and spouse Marvin) Brunk, West Alexandria, Ohio; Margaret (and spouse Ralph) Montel, Warsaw; Dorothy (and spouse Lee) Marvel, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Phyllis (and spouse John) Gove, Spring Hill, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; a grandson, Anthony; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester, with the Rev. Larry Overstreet officiating. Burial will be in Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, North Manchester.
