Marlies Selent-West, program director of Lakeland Youth Center, said, "Normally, we have middle school dances, but I have had several requests on Facebook and Twitter to hold a high school dance. I'm hoping to have a great turn out so that we can offer more dances and events in the future for our area teens."
The Lakeland Youth Center is a not-for-profit organization. The mission of Lakeland Youth Center is to foster a positive sense of self-worth through programs that promote physical, mental, emotional and social development in the youth of our communities.
