Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Editor, Times-Union:
We have heard it said that April showers bring May flowers! We are so thankful they didn’t dampen the hearts of the wonderful people of our community. They were waiting in line a half hour before the doors were to open, to enjoy delicious food, fellowship with friends and neighbors and above all help us provide food for the Salvation Army Food Pantry for those less fortunate in Kosciusko County.
Special thanks to the ladies of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary for all of their hard work and dedication to make this event a success.
Also, thank you to the Warsaw High School students who gave of their time to help. Helping others is one of the best things a person can do. Thank you. You are the future!
Thank you to Miller Cattle Company, Eagle Outdoor Advertising, Times-Union, The Paper, News Now Warsaw, Ink Free News, Willie’s and WRSW radio stations and the Warsaw Parks Dept.
A special thank you to Bill Smith who volunteered to smoke all of the pork roasts with his “secret recipe” to create the delicious pulled pork sandwiches.
To everyone who came to the luncheon to support the Salvation Army Food Pantry this year, and those who were unable to attend … mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 14, 2027! We hope to see you!
