NORTH MANCHESTER - Lucile Irene Kinsley, 97, North Manchester, died at 1:05 a.m. Dec. 29, 2010, at Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester.

She was born April 13, 1913, in Franklin Grove, Ill., to Oliver "O.D." and Anna Stutzman Buck. On June 25, 1935, she married Evan Kinsley, who survives.

She graduated from Franklin Grove High School in 1930 and from Manchester College in 1934. From 1965 to 1967, she and her husband served the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria as educational missionaries. She was a member of the Manchester College Community Club, North Manchester Women's Club, Wabash County Retired Teachers Association, North Manchester Shepherd's Center and was an active volunteer at One World Handcrafts, North Manchester. She was a member of Manchester Church of the Brethren. She was an elementary school teacher, retiring in 1974.

Also surviving are three sons: Dale (and spouse Cheryll) Kinsley, Bellingham, Wash.; Kenneth (and spouse Karen) Kinsley, Monticello, Minn.; and Gerald (and spouse Cindy) Kinsley, Rockford, Ill.; a daughter, Joyce Mann, Chico, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 19 at Timbercrest Chapel, North Manchester, with Pastors Kurt Borgmann and Karen Eberly officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Dixon, Ill.

Calling will be one hour prior to services at the chapel.
