The preliminary plan for the Lakeland Regional Sewer District treatment facility, according to our LRSD Board, is that it will have a 400,000-gallon capacity.

It will be rated as a Class II wastewater facility. They would propose to dump the effluent from the facility into Vancuren Ditch near CR 100N.

Where does the water from the ditch go? Please do some checking to verify where it goes. I think I already know. Maybe for awhile this might not be a huge issue, but look at the future.

Think of when the plant is half way to capacity. What effect to the folks downstream?

What if you were in their position? Please let your voices be heard.
