ROCHESTER – Lowell E. Grossman, 83, of 15990 S. Nutmeg Road, Plymouth, died at 4:15 a.m. June 6, 2011,   in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center of Plymouth.
He was born Nov. 13, 1927, in Argos, to Lott and Corine Hagenbush Grossman. On July 2, 1950, in Knox, he married Bonnie Scarbourgh, who survives.
A lifetime Marshall County resident, he was a farmer and had dairy cows. He also worked in construction and in a factory. He was a member of Argos United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are a daughter, Judith Ann (and spouse Eric) Weiss, Simpsonville, Ky.; two sons, Terry Michael (and spouse Susan) Grossman, Claypool, and James  Lowell Grossman, Indianapolis; and six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Leona Young, Niles, Mich. He was preceded in death by a grandson, three sisters and six brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Argos United Methodist Church with Pastor Ken Walker officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.
