Love, Support, Prayers

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

On behalf of the family of Terry Polston, I would like to take a moment to express our most sincere appreciation. We have all been overwhelmed with the love, support and prayer by our community.

As we shared during his memorial service on Sunday, Terry touched the lives of so many people during his years with us. He loved our Lord, his family, his church and the children of our community.

Christ's message continues to live on through Terry's life as evident by an e-mail I received this week from a friend that lives in southern Indiana. This friend attended Terry's service and then shared with me this week that he has now been given a second chance. He shared how he sat through the service, listening to Terry's legacy of love and started evaluating his own life. He shared that he now knows what it is like to walk in our Lord's footsteps so others can see Him through us. He said, "Thank you Terry for communicating this to me and now I have a second chance to change my life and make a difference in the lives of others."

If you get a chance, go to www.youtube.com and search Terry Polston. Click on Terry Polston-Hero to view the clip that was going to be shown at the service but due to technical problems, it wasn't shown.

Thank you again, Warsaw, for being there for us and with us to celebrate OP's life and Homecoming.
