Love One Another

Adjustments are needed.

Few of us can claim we never made a mistake or never had an argument. We are all human; therefore we should expect human errors and bad judgments. Each of us needs a break with forgiveness and tolerance, as we give each other time to grow up. We need to mature in spiritual advancement and progress in wisdom.

With the above said, we still see so much anger, attempts at retribution, vengeance, hatred and many examples of bad manners. There is rampant insensitivity and disrespect of others with lots of “to hell with them" attitudes. We yell at school board and at other public meetings; we cheat each other, we drive badly in traffic, and well – the list goes on ad infinitum.

If we are to live better, we all must adjust ourselves to respect and love others more. This Jesus we’ve heard of has asked us to adjust. When his teachings take heart in a person, relationships improve and life is happier because we trust each other to be  good neighbors. People who love one another, as he taught us, do not hurt people. We might make a mistake, but realizing hurt, we adjust with sorrow and ask for forgiveness, which is given by those who know Jesus.

This guy Jesus was a marvelous person. We all would live better, relate better, and achieve greater confidence in life and anticipating eternal destination if we lived like he did. He loved every soul he met; everyone including his bitter enemies who failed to see his purposes.

We need a lot of adjustments across the world in the way we relate to one another, including how we behave in politics.  Nasty is not Jesus’ way. Let us all personally look deeply inside ourselves to learn what adjustments are needed. Let us not be first to cast stones.
