Louise M. Middleton Rupe, 90, of Winona Lake, died at 12:10 a.m. March 12, 2011, in Warsaw Meadows Healthcare Center, Warsaw.
She was born May 22, 1920, in Kansas City, Kan., to Everest B. and Grace Hogue Middleton. On Aug. 17, 1941, in Defiance, Ohio, she married Rel Quentin Rupe, who died Nov. 21, 1998.
She lived in Springfield, Ill., and was a longtime resident of Winona Lake. She worked in the shipping department at Rodeheaver Music Co., Winona Lake, and was a member of Presbyterian Church, Winona Lake.
Surviving are four children: John R. Rupe, Warsaw; Stanley E. (and spouse Camila) Rupe, Ferguson, Mo.; Jennifer Ford, Jupiter, Fla.; and Rel Rupe II, Mokelumne Hill, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services and burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
