Louise M. Middleton Rupe, 90, of Winona Lake, died at 12:10 a.m. March 12, 2011, in Warsaw Meadows Healthcare Center, Warsaw. She was born May 22, 1920, in Kansas City, Kan., to Everest B. and Grace Hogue Middleton. On Aug. 17, 1941, in Defiance, Ohio, she married Rel Quentin Rupe, who died Nov. 21, 1998. She lived in Springfield, Ill., and was a longtime Winona Lake resident. She worked in the shipping department at Rodeheaver Music Co., Winona Lake, and was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Winona Lake. Surviving are four children: John R. Rupe, Warsaw; Stanley E. (and spouse Camila) Rupe, Ferguson, Mo.; Jennifer Ford, Jupiter, Fla.; and Rel Rupe II, Mokelumne Hill, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Rob Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
