Heaven has welcomed a very special angel! Surrounded by family and Pastor Yoder, Louise Cook, 95, Warsaw, passed away at 3:30 a.m. March 30, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
She was born May 10, 1920, in Newnan, Ga., to Edward and Fannie Kate Smith Patterson. On Oct. 21, 1942, in Newnan, Ga., she was united in holy matrimony to her committed spouse, Clarence Cook, who survives in Warsaw.
Since 1946, she was a resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a homemaker and a member of Warsaw Church of God. She also was a dedicated, loyal employee of Hazel Murphy at Murphy Medical Center.
She was the loving inspiration that always brought the family together … always encouraging each one to do their best. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly.
She received her elementary and high school education in the public schools of Newnan. She accepted Christ at an early age in Newnan.
Those left to cherish the many beautiful memories are her two sons, Jack (and spouse Marsha) Cook and Bill (and spouse wife Doris) Cook, all of Warsaw; a daughter, Mary (and spouse Carl) Evans, South Bend; seven grandchildren: Matthew (and spouse Janet) Cook Irvine, Calif.; Leticia (and spouse Byron) Burns, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Brian (and spouse Karin) Cook and Joy (and spouse Edward) Green, all of Indianapolis; Erin (and spouse Travis) Saunders London, Ohio; Isaac (and spouse JaKayla) Evans, South Bend;  Philip (and spouse Camille) Evans; and nine great-grandchildren: Jonathan Burns, Brenden Cook, Alyssa Burns, Malachi Evans, Sydney Cook, Jada Burns, Caleb Evans, Daniel Evans and Ethan Evans. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and one sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Warsaw Church of God, with Pastors Tim Kumfer and Jerry Yoder officiating. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and an hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
