LouAnn WhetstoneAKRON – LouAnn Whetstone, 75, rural Akron, died at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021, at her residence.
LouAnn was born on July 26, 1945, in Rochester, to Robert L. and Esther Miller Nicodemus. She was married Aug. 30, 1972, in Jellico, Tenn., to Marvin E. Whetstone, who died Jan. 21, 1999.
Following her wishes, no visitation or service will be held at this time. An afternoon memorial celebration will take place at her home Sunday, July 25. Her final resting place will be in the Tippecanoe Cemetery, Tippecanoe, alongside her husband.
