This letter is to the person that was at Wal-Mart on Sunday at 6:30 in the evening this week.
While shopping in the shoe department, I pulled a tissue from my pocket and accidentally my wedding ring at the same time. I had no sooner left that area when I discovered it missing. I went back and the employees of Wal-Mart helped me search for the ring to no avail.
I know to some it may just be a ring, but to me it is all I had left to bind me to my husband. Doug was on his way home from work on May 13, 2003, when his truck was hit by a semi on US 30 and he was killed.
Please, please find it in your heart to return the ring. Drop it off at the police department or the service desk at Wal-Mart; no questions will be asked.
Thank you for searching your heart and doing the right thing.
