Editor, Times-Union: The United States is no longer a Christian nation, not because we took prayer out of the school in the ’60s. We could still pray in our homes, in our churches. Not because we killed over 50 million babies since the early ’70s. The Supreme Court several times has upheld the law, Roe vs. Wade. Our nation has a new motto: Do unto others before they do it to you. If someone has a different view point than our own, we assassinate their character. How many times has someone taken advantage of us because they can and we cannot do anything about it? How many have stabbed us in the back and climbed over us to get ahead? Most of the people that have the upper hand are “our” friends. In other words, we no longer love and respect each other. Paul Fribley Warsaw
