GOSHEN - Loren C. Neibert, 77, of 309 Gallatin Circle, Irmo, S.C., died July 10, 2007, following a short illness.
He was born Feb. 7, 1930, in Warsaw. On Oct. 10, 1952, in Syracuse, he married Wanda Ringler, who survives.
He retired from the U.S. Army as a sergeant first class. He was a member of Kennerly Baptist Church, Irmo, S.C.
Surviving are a son, Kim Neibert, Muncie; and two daughters, Mrs. Juan (Desiree) Gomez, Columbia, S.C., and Mrs. Jeffrey (Katja) Stookey, Winterville, Ga.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; and five sisters. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services with full military honors were July 15 at Kennerly Baptist Church, Irmo.
