MILFORD – Lorain E. Sellers passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 92.
Born on Oct. 16, 1932, in Tippecanoe, Lorain was the beloved son of Raleigh and Ina May Hoffer Sellers, both of whom preceded him in death, along with his cherished daughter, Kathleen Diane Sellers; sister, Sylvia Scholl; and brother, Arnold Sellers.
Lorain leaves behind a legacy of love including his devoted wife, Rosemary Harman Sellers, with whom he shared a beautiful and enriching life journey being married for 72 years. His memory will be cherished by his daughter, Nanette Kay; and his adored grandson, Steven Carlton Kay; who brought him immeasurable joy throughout his years. Despite the profound sorrow brought by the loss of his daughter Kathleen Diane Sellers, Lorain's strength and love continued to be a source of comfort to his family. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whose lives he touched and shaped in countless ways.
Lorain's work ethic was without reproach. He dedicated many years of service to Ecker Trucking in Bourbon, and subsequently, brought his passion for hard work to Beer and Slabaugh in Nappanee, where he retired.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11 at 2 p.m., at Mishler Funeral Home, 461 W. CR 900N, Milford. Private inurnment will take place at Stony Point Cemetery at a later date.
