TOLEDO, Ohio – Lora S. Oswalt, 50, Toledo, Ohio, and formerly of Warsaw, passed away Sept. 12, 2015, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sept. 23, 1964, to Robert Curtis and Carolyn Unrue Phelps. Most important to her were her family, children and especially her grandchildren. Some of her hobbies included gardening, fishing and the outdoors in general. She worked in the home health care field for a number of years and she truly enjoyed taking care of her clients, always going above and beyond. Survivors are: her mother, Carolyn (and spouse Ronnie) Phelps; four children, Jeffery (and spouse Heather) Oswalt, Stephanie (and spouse Noe) Lopez, and Jeramy (and Teresa Reese) and Jason Oswalt; 14 grandchildren; a brother, David Curtis; two half sisters, Sheryl Hendrickson and Judith Holt; and a half brother, Robert (and spouse Linda) Curtis. She was preceded in death by her father. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio, with Pastor Mike Kelley officiating.
