Lora Lee Dallas, 63, died May 14, 2013, in St. Joseph Hospital, Tampa, Fla.
She was born Jan. 19, 1950, in Indianapolis, to Robert V. and Lenore M. Wilkerson Dallas.
Living most of her life in Kosciusko County, she was a registered nurse who worked at Kosciusko Community Hospital and Miller’s Merry Manor before retiring in 2005. She previously worked as a nurse at Methodist Hospital and Winona Hospital Indianapolis during the Indianapolis 500 races. She also worked as a nurse for Interim Health Care in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Luann’s Nursing Home, Nappanee, and University Community Hospital, Tampa. She was a member of Red Cross Disaster Teams for 25 years with the Warsaw, Indianapolis and Tampa chapters; member of Big Chapman Lake Conservation Club; joined the USO during the Vietnam War and rejoined in 2012; and volunteered with Eagle Creek Park and Nature Center in Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Leslie Keller, who died April 8, 2009; an aunt, Irene Dallas Woempner, who died Nov. 1, 2007; and her aunt’s companion, Dr. Harry Feldman, who died Nov. 1, 2007.
There will be no services as per her request. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
