Lois Ruth Poe, 63, Warsaw, passed away at 8 a.m. April 12, 2016, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born July 27, 1952, in Plymouth, to Lewis and Betty Dare Hite. She worked at Wabash Valley for 13 years. She enjoyed reading, sewing and spending time with her family. Surviving are one daughter, Angela (and companion David Zolman) Barker, Warsaw; one son, Frankie Poe, Warsaw; three sisters: Lella (and spouse David) Holbrook, Warsaw, Suzanne (and spouse Larry) Hyden, Mentone, and Barbara (and spouse Dick) Ault, Akron; one brother, Bob (and spouse Connie) Hite, Akron; former husband, Frank Poe, Warsaw; granddaughter, Danielle Barker, Warsaw; three grandsons: Brenden Wolf, Cameron Wolf and Tommy Poe, all of Warsaw; and one great-granddaughter, Alayzia Poe, at home. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Hite, who died Oct. 22, 1987; mother, Betty Hite, who died April 21, 2008; one sister, Betty Hite, who died Sept. 28, 1983; and four brothers: Sam Hite, who died Sept. 24, 1997; Bill Hite, who died July 24, 1979; David Hite, who died Sept. 18, 2001 and John Hite, who died Sept. 29, 1994. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, Claypool, with Pastor Terry Bradford of the church officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Titus Funeral Home.
