Lois RockeyLois Rockey, 81, Warsaw, passed away at 2:44 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Kosciusko County, to Joseph E. and Viola M. Fisher Johnson. She was united in marriage to Junior William Rockey in Winona Lake on Dec. 17, 1954. He preceded her Feb. 8, 1997.
She was formerly employed by Horne-Sunnymeade, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Ramsey News and United Telephone Service, all of Warsaw. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, she attended Trinity United Methodist Church and was a former girls softball coach in the Warsaw area.
Survivors include daughters Vicky (Stanley) Patterson, Warsaw, and Kimberly Rockey, Indianapolis. In addition, grandchildren Mathew W. Brown and Kristi (Peter) Lucht, both of Warsaw; great-grandchildren Lorelai, Isaiah, Jazette and Lukas; and a sister, Mildred Pook, Tennessee, survive.
She was preceded by a great-grandson, Griffin Lucht; seven brothers; and one sister.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p. m. Tuesday, June 13, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, in the funeral chapel, with Pastor Peter Lucht officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
