Lois J. Stone, 69, Claypool, died at 7:45 p.m. July 17, 2015, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Nov. 30, 1945, in Flint. Mich., to Amos and Ora M. Stiltner Stone. She worked at Da-Lite Screen for 43 years as an industrial sewer, was an artist who enjoyed painting and drawing and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are two sons, Robert Johnson, Claypool, and Lonnie Shoffner, Middlesboro, Ky.; a daughter, Sherrie Pratt (and partner Colleen Edwards), Silver Lake; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Johnson. There will be no visitation or service. Burial will be at a later date. Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements. ***** Memorials may be given to a charity of choice or simple acts of kindness may be done for others in Lois’ memory.
