The drawing for the 40th Annual IHSAA Volleyball State Tournament was held Monday night, allowing local teams to know their sectional paths.
In Class 4A action, the Warsaw Lady Tigers begin their postseason play on Oct. 20 at the Goshen Sectional, facing the hosting Goshen Lady Redskins. The Warsaw/Goshen matchup will follow the match between No. 3 Elkhart Memorial and Northridge, which begins at 6 p.m.
At West Noble, Wawasee and Tippecanoe Valley begin the tournament with a 6 p.m. match on Oct. 20.
The Whitko Lady Wildcats used to be a part of the West Noble Sectional, but with the realignment, they are now at the Norwell Sectional, where they’ll face Eastbrook in the opening round.
At North Miami, the Manchester Lady Squires drew No. 7 Southwood in the opening round, which will be on Oct. 20 at 6 p.m.
And in Class 1A play, the Triton Lady Trojans drew Michigan City Marquette in the opening-match of the sectional.
