ST. PAUL, Minn. - Jonathan Boggs, of Warsaw, recently received a $750 scholarship from the CHS Foundation, the major giving entity of CHS Inc., an energy, grains and foods company.
Boggs is studying ag mechanics at University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima, Ohio, and is one of 50 students receiving scholarships through the CHS Foundation Two-Year College Scholarship Program. A total of $37,500 was awarded through the program this year.
"We are proud to support the next generation of leaders in agribusiness and production agriculture," said William J. Nelson, CHS Foundation president. "These students will play an important role in communities across our country."
An independent, external committee selected recipients based on essays, transcripts and reference letters. More information on all CHS Foundation scholarships is available at www.chsfoundation.org
